The key FertilyLife requirements include:

Age between 21 and 37;
A mother of at least one healthy child, born after a natural pregnancy;
Full compatibility with the program, both psychologically and emotionally;
Perfect health conditions;

Non-smoker;
No drugs, alcohol or medication;
Not in deprived economic circumstances;
Healthy, informed and moderate lifestyle.

How are surrogate mothers selected?

For each couple who chooses to put their trust in us, the professionals at FertilyLife select the most suitable surrogate mother to give birth to the baby: the candidate is chosen with the utmost care, in order to be sure she is completely ideal to complete such an important task.

Before embarking on the pregnancy, the surrogate mother undergoes a series of psychological checks followed by medical tests conducted at the clinic, in order to obtain a clear picture of her clinical profile. To become a surrogate mother, the candidate must be in perfect health.

Support and assistance at every stage of the pregnancy

Once the criteria have been met, the surrogate mother begins the process of gestation. Throughout the course of the pregnancy, the FertilyLife team monitor closely and meticulously the progress and growth of the baby and support the surrogate mother in all aspects of day-to-day lifechoosing the most suitable and healthy foods; taking natural supplements; and all the medical and psychological check-ups necessary to ensure the pregnancy is completely safe and calm.

Furthermore, before and during the process, surrogate mothers receive all the information they need to understand their position in relation to the child they will be carrying, in both genetic and legal terms.
