Always at your side, at every stage of the surrogacy journey

FertilyLife offers a guaranteed surrogacy program, giving the couples we treat the certainty of realising their dream of parenthood and embracing their own baby.

We take care of every aspect of the journey, from the initial information stage to the contract; support and translation during medical appointments; we offer couples and surrogate mothers assistance with all bureaucratic, practical and operational aspects, including organising transport and accommodation during visits to Mexico, the birth of the baby, registration and issue of the birth certificate and passport, right up to the family’s return home.

Are you ready to realise your most precious dream with gestational surrogacy?

How does surrogacy work?

The gestational surrogacy program entails the involvement of a woman who becomes pregnant on behalf of the couple and carries the baby in her uterus, as a result of an assisted reproduction or IVF procedure.

The baby’s genetic makeup should be at least that of one of the parents (for example, when a donor egg is used) and, where possible, both. The surrogate mother therefore has no biological connection with the unborn child, since it has the male and/or female gametes of the aspiring parents and/or a donor or donors.

The choice of the surrogate mother is crucial, because the health and appearance of the unborn child depend on the quality of the eggs. All our surrogates are women who follow a healthy and correct lifestyle and, before being selected, undergo in-depth medical checks. Once the pregnancy begins, the gestational carrier is included in our medical and psychological screening program, and given the best possible care, for a safe and calm pregnancy.

The stages of the program

The first stage for the future parents is a telephone or video interview with the professionals of the FertilyLife team. Once the most appropriate option for the couple has been established, the contract is signed.

This is the moment to collect the semen. FertilyLife carries out all the necessary analyses to check the suitability of the genetic makeup. If the outcome is positive, the process of assisted fertilisation or IVF begins for the surrogate mother.

The future parents are asked to be physically present at the clinic some three weeks prior to the birth, so that they can follow the final days of the pregnancy, be present at the birth and take their baby home.
